FAQ

Where can I find you & your work?

I am on lots of different platforms - usually as either _TKEH_ (IG, TikTok, Reddit, Youtube, Patreon) or TKEH Art (Etsy, Facebook). Patreon gives you the option of subscribing to recieve exclusive content and more long-form content than most of my other platforms.

I'm an international buyer, can I still use this site?

Yes you can! Please be aware that duties and taxes may apply (details here). If your order does not contain original artworks, you may wish to purchase via Etsy instead (find my Etsy here) as they handle duties and taxes.

Do you take commissions?

Yes! I am happy to take on all sorts of commissions, just let me know your ideas and I'd be happy to consider it. I am particularly interested in portraits, abstract works, book illustrations and album artwork. I do occasionally close commissions to catch up and give myself a break, so there may sometimes be a small wait, but I will try to update this page and my social pages often with availability. Either use the contact form on this site, or drop me an email to tkehart@gmail.com!

What materials do you use?

Most of my paintings use Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolours, as well as a small selection of other watercolour brands, ink and gouache. Original paintings use a mixture of papers, including Arches, Fabriano, CassArt, Bockingford and more. Other supplies, including acrylics, oil paints or oil pastels are Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, System3 or Liquitex.

Prints are printed on a Canon Pixma Pro 200 printer using ChromaLife 100+ inks on a variety of archival quality papers, including Canon Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte and Fotospeed Platinum Etching.

Cards, bookmarks and stickers are printed by a variety of methods, including on my own printer and from external companies.

Can I get your artwork tattooed?

I am happy for my artwork to be tattooed, and I would love to see anything you get done! I do ask that you buy a tattoo token (digital item) if you plan to do this as a small means of supporting my work, and you will also get a digital tattoo 'permission' slip that you can show to your tattoo artist.
I am also available for tattoo commissions, if you would like something custom in my style to take to your artist.

How should I display your prints and paintings?

Original paintings will come with an artwork care guide, but generally should be framed out of direct sunlight, behind glass or acrylic glazing, and should be separated from the glass by a mount/matting. This will ensure the longevity of colours.

Prints are slightly more resilient and can handle less meticulous framing, but should still ideally be framed and kept out of direct sunlight to preserve colour.
